About the Role

As a GPU Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving both hardware and software issues related to GPUs, with a specific focus on ensuring the seamless operation of supercomputers, computer clusters, and advanced PC architectures. You will use your in-depth knowledge of the Windows OS and extensive scripting skills to support the testing and optimization of GPU technologies.

Your role will involve testing and validating hardware and software in a collaborative environment, where your troubleshooting and debugging expertise will be critical in identifying and resolving complex technical issues. You will also be involved in configuring and building systems, performing memory dump analysis, and utilizing remote debugging tools. As part of the team, you will work on projects involving CUDA, OpenCL, and deep learning AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and Resolution: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to GPU systems, ensuring systems operate efficiently and as expected.
• System Configuration and Testing: Build, configure, and test high-performance PCs, laptops, supercomputers, and computer clusters. Ensure proper functioning of GPU hardware and related systems.
• Scripting and Automation: Utilize your Python scripting skills to automate testing processes, improving efficiency and accuracy. Knowledge of additional programming languages like C/C++, Ansible, Java, and JavaScript will be beneficial.
• System Debugging: Utilize advanced debugging tools to conduct memory dump analysis, remote debugging, and handle other system-level troubleshooting tasks.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with both internal teams and clients to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance. Communicate findings clearly through both written and verbal reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving testing protocols and automating processes where applicable, ensuring that the systems remain scalable, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a relevant technical role, with 2+ years of experience in customer support or software-hardware testing. Experience in GPU testing or related fields is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep understanding of Windows OS and system architectures.
  • Strong expertise in Python scripting for system automation and testing.
  • In-depth knowledge of PC architecture, supercomputers, and computer clusters.
  • Experience troubleshooting and configuring hardware and software for GPU systems.

  • Proficiency in debugging tools, memory dump analysis, and remote debugging techniques.
