Role Overview
American Express is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner to join its Global Talent Acquisition function in Gurugram, Haryana. The role is situated within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG), formerly known as Human Resources. The primary objective of the CEG is to deliver an exceptional colleague experience each day, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering value to the business and employees alike. The Global Talent Acquisition team is going through an exciting transformation, utilizing robotics, automation tools, and modernizing recruitment infrastructure to prioritize talent acquisition and enhance the candidate experience. The role of the TA Partner is integral to ensuring that American Express hires the best talent in the market through effective and efficient recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition Partner will play a vital role in driving recruitment for American Express and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process. This includes everything from job posting to talent sourcing, candidate prescreening, assessments, interviews, offer management, and onboarding. Ensuring an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring leaders is a key priority.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will:
- Handle End-to-End Recruitment Activities
From job posting and sourcing to conducting interviews and managing offers, you will ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process for your designated roles. You will focus on delivering the best possible candidate experience, which aligns with Amex’s commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. - Build Relationships with Stakeholders
You will collaborate with hiring managers, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions. Your expertise will guide them in attracting the right talent, navigating the competitive recruitment landscape, and making informed decisions on hiring. - Sourcing and Talent Pipelines
You will proactively source candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, the Employee Referral Program, and internal job posts. A key part of your role will be building a proactive talent pipeline to ensure that top candidates are always available for current and future hiring needs. - Recruitment Marketing and Branding
You will partner with in-house specialists to develop a compelling recruitment marketing strategy. By promoting the American Express employer brand, you will ensure that potential candidates are engaged and informed about the career opportunities at the company. - Collaborate with Recruitment Operations
In collaboration with the Recruitment Operations team, you will ensure that all recruitment processes are compliant with regulations and aligned with American Express’s policies. This will help to streamline processes and deliver a seamless recruitment experience. - Providing Market Insights and Salary Guidance
You will stay up to date with external market trends, recruitment best practices, and industry insights. This knowledge will be invaluable when advising hiring leaders on available talent in the market, compensation packages, and competitive hiring strategies. - Ensure Accurate ATS and Process Compliance
As part of your role, you will manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure that recruitment data is up-to-date and in compliance with local and regional regulations. This helps ensure that the recruitment process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, the following qualifications and experience are required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
You should hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent professional experience. - 5+ Years of Recruitment Experience
Proven experience in a fast-paced global recruitment environment is a must. You should be comfortable working in an ever-evolving recruitment landscape, with a track record of delivering quality results. - Experience with ATS and Recruitment Tools
A strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment platforms is essential to improve process efficiency and support a data-driven recruitment approach. - Excellent Interviewing and Assessment Skills
You should have in-depth knowledge of candidate assessment techniques, selection methodologies, and interview processes to identify top talent and drive hiring decisions effectively. - Strong Stakeholder Management
Your ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders, including hiring managers and HR partners, will be key to your success in this role.
