Essential Functions

  • Prioritize and complete assigned training on time.
  • Process safety data according to regulations, guidelines, SOPs, and project requirements.
  • Perform pharmacovigilance activities, including collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AE) and endpoint information, determining the initial/update status of incoming events, and entering data into the system.
  • Code AE and products, write narratives, and handle literature-related activities as per internal and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and project delivery requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and track cases as per the project plan.
  • Identify and report quality issues to senior team members.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.
  • Mentor new team members, if assigned by the manager.
  • Attend project team meetings and provide feedback to the operations manager regarding challenges, issues, or successes.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent in a scientific, healthcare, or allied life sciences discipline.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific, healthcare, or allied life sciences discipline with 1 to 1.5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Good knowledge of medical terminology (Intermediate level).
  • Working knowledge of applicable Safety Databases (Beginner level).
  • Knowledge of global, regional, and local clinical research regulatory requirements (Beginner level).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy (Beginner level).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications (Beginner level).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (Intermediate level).
  • Self-motivated and flexible (Intermediate level).
  • Ability to follow instructions/guidelines, work independently, and demonstrate initiative (Intermediate level).
  • Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines (Beginner level).
  • Ability to delegate tasks to less experienced team members (Beginner level).
  • Willingness to learn new skills across Safety service lines (Beginner level).
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients (Beginner level).
  • Ability to work as a team player and contribute to team goals (Beginner level).
  • Ensure quality of deliverables according to agreed terms (Beginner level).
  • Demonstrate IQVIA core values in daily tasks (Beginner level).
  • Frequent use of telephone and face-to-face communication, requiring accurate speech perception (Beginner level).
  • Regular sitting for extended periods (Beginner level).
